Orthomolecular Nutrition

Orthomolecular Nutrition aims to restore the body by correcting imbalances or deficiencies.

Orthomolecular Nutrition is an evidence-based modality that supports the body in healing and achieving vitality through the use of the bodies own correct molecules, whether this be with food or supplementation. As a Registered Orthomolecular Health Practitioner (ROHPt), I have a working knowledge of evidence-based healing options, including: herbal and natural supplementation protocols, prophylactics, menu & nutritional advice, and lifestyle management coaching that contribute to healing, as well as healthful aging and longevity.

The goal is to encourage a highly-functional body and mind for the longest period of time through prevention, healing, and in some cases reversing disease and the effects of the aging process.

Orthomolecular nutrition takes into account human anatomy, physiology, bio and organic chemistry. This discipline also offers an understanding of common blood testing and drug-nutrient interactions, in conjunction with conventional medical treatment and care, as a means to best coach clients on how to correctly and safely incorporate this state-of-the-art adjunctive therapy into their busy lives.
